The IARS International Institute are pleased to offer a members' only opportunity to travel, and stay in Germany for week in order to attend its forthcoming CPD accredited training for practitioners supporting refugees and migrants. The training is being hosted by berami one of our European partners in Frankfurt from the 6th – 10th February.

The training aims at expanding and strengthening the gender and diversity-sensitive counseling competencies of practitioners who are already working in the field of career counseling or are supporting migrants and refugees integrate into their host country.

Those attending the week long event will get the chance to train alongside practitioners from across the European wide Move On partnership.

Training topics include:

  • An Introduction into career counseling for migrants and refugees
  • Gender and diversity in career counseling
  • Counseling processes in intercultural contexts
  • Hypotheses building
  • Reflexive working in migrant and refugee career counseling

The training will include visits to two organisations in Frankfurt who will share their best practice in supporting migrants into employment.

The training offers the chance for practitioners to network with  others in the field from across Europe, learn best practice techniques and develop their own professional awareness through this CPD accredited course.

This exclusive offer to our members includes travel costs from the UK to Frankfurt  and accommodation costs during the course of the training. (IARS cannot pay the cost of your time/ salary whilst on the training).
