IARS is delighted to host Peacemaking Circles Training facilitated by Dr. Evelyn Zellerer, an international restorative justice expert, on the 21st of November in celebration of Restorative Justice Week 2014. The training will enable you to learn about, and explore, the work of Peacemaking Circles. 

The Circle process is used for many purposes, including dialogue, problem solving, conflict resolution, healing and community building. Circles are used successfully in a variety of settings such as schools, workplaces and the justice system. Participants of this training will learn about, and experience, the fundamentals of Peacemaking Circles, including:

  • The foundation and core elements of Circles
  • Circle structure and stages
  • Practical applications
  • Facilitation skills

With over 15 years of experience in facilitating, training and consulting in Circle process and restorative justice, Dr Zellerer has worked with a wide variety of groups in many countries, including government agencies, non-profits, schools, police and corrections. Evelyn is founder and director of Peace of the Circle, which specializes in working with groups to hold productive meetings, transform conflict and build relationships.
