Representation

Our mission is to give everyone a chance to shape a safer, fairer and more inclusive society. To do so, the voices of our communities must be heard. We maintain seat on key decision making bodies ensuring that community and young people voices are heard and indeed help shape policy, legislation and practice. These are some examples:

To advise the CPS on their strategies and business plan particularly in relation to their work with communities.

Ministry of Justice Restorative Justice Working Group To advise on matters impacting on restorative justice policy and practice - help devise a national strategy on restorative justice

Independent Advisory Group, London Criminal Justice Partnership (LCJB)

To advise, support and question the LCJP in terms of delivery, effectiveness and engagements.

European Forum for Restorative Justice

To inform and influence restorative justice practices and policy at a European level.

London Youth Involvement Project, Mentor UK

To advise on a youth policy project relevant to drug misuse prevention work.

Voluntary Sector Forum, LVSC

To engage with London Councils and work with other London Council funded organisations on issues affecting the capital.

StopWatch Group

To ensure that reforms to the police service regarding stop and search are fair, inclusive, and lead to better policing for all.

UKREN (UK Race and Europe Network)

UKREN has taken a leading role in ensuring that local and national UK organisations are kept informed of the latest developments in European race relations.

The Howard League for Penal Reform's Early Career Academics Network

An internet based network providing a regular channel of communication and information promoting closer working and an interface between academics and campaigners.

Restorative Justice Council

To inform and advice restorative justice practices.

99% Campaign Coalition

To provide direction and support to the 99 per cent Campaign.

IARS' Youth Policy Response Group

 To respond to law and policy reform as it happens throughout the year.
