Biography

Safia Abdullah is currently a student at Goldsmiths College, University of London reading a BA in History/Politics.

She has taken part in various extra-curricular activities at University, specifically involving the Islamic society, and has taken an active role in events planning. She was also previously a charity leader, which involved raising money for disaster-struck nations, such has Haiti and the Pakistan flood appeal.

Safia holds the role of Research Assistant on the IARS project 'the changing role of Muslim women's participation in sporting events: 1948 to the present day'.
