Ms Lorna Robins: Trustee

After completing a degree in Politics and Sociology at the University of Bristol, Lorna trained to be a Citizenship teacher on the Teach First programme, and taught at a school in Thamesmead, South East London for 2 years.  On completing Teach First she started working at the Institute for Global Ethics as their Youth Programme Officer running the Impetus Youth Award scheme that aims to promote human rights and the values that underpin them to young people through skills based approaches.   Lorna is passionately interested in women's rights and in 2004 won the Women in Politics undergraduate essay prize for an essay examining the potential of international feminism
