We are looking for a committed and confident Projects Coordinator (Equalities). The right candidate will be involved in our European funded Erasmus + programme Move On; UK-based project Gender and Justice Empowerment project funded by Comic Relief; and two external evaluations of the Anne Frank Trust Schools Programme and Detention Action. Other responsibilities will include the coordination of volunteering opportunities for young people as well as travel abroad! The post is offered part-time with the possibility of becoming full time funding allowing. We accept applications only from applicants with a right to work in the UK.
Who we are looking for
For this role, we are looking for an expert team member with strong academic background and proven experience in delivering and developing research and evaluation projects on equalities, including but not limited to gender and race equality, human rights, migrant and refugee issues and social inclusion.
This is a key role at the organisation which involves working directly with the Director to deliver IARS scientific and intellectual work and programmes, and devise further projects in order to continue delivering its mission. The right candidate should also have interest in learning how to generate income through research and evaluation contracts and grant applications. We are looking for a strong team player with innovative ideas, excellent organisational skills, and a person who shows attention to detail and is able to plan, prioritise, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Benefits & Working hours
The post is office based (London, UK) and is part-time (3-4 days per week), offered on a two year fixed term contract at £23,658-£32,963 pro rated. The initial salary will depend on experience and there will be a 6 month probationary period. The contract is renewable and depending on funding. Other benefits include 24 days paid annual leave, plus bank holidays and 5.5% pension upon successful completion of the probationary period (pro rated).
