Violence against Children & Young People – Multidisciplinary Learning Seminar

IARS is providing a space and platform for professionals and interested stakeholders to come together, discuss best practices in child protection, and map existing strategies related to gender-based violence and discrimination in schools.

The aims of this seminar are to:

  • Raise awareness on issues around child abuse and promote early detection of abuse
  • Promote multidisciplinary approaches in tackling violence against children and young people
  • Strengthen relationships of different sectors to prevent, detect, and report violence against children
  • Present key findings and best practices from the field of child protection

The webinar will introduce new research from two European Union funded initiatives, Children First– Addressing gender based violence from bottom up & PROCHILD– Protection and support of abused children through multidisciplinary interventions.
