To join us to debate solutions to end gender discrimination in schools. This is a FREE event.
Why?
In 2022 gender violence and harassment are still problems young people face in schools. In the UK, at least 37 %of female students at mixed-sex schools have personally experienced some form of sexual harassment at school. Only 14 % of students who have experienced sexual harassment reported it to a teacher.Over 27 %of secondary school teachers say they would not feel confident tackling a sexist incident if they experienced or witnessed it in school.
This event is organised by FREE PROJECT. You will take part of the new FREE PROJECT training platform and debate the methodology. Access the full agenda for the event here.

Where?
The Human Rights Action Centre
Situated within the Shoreditch Triangle, with easy access to both the City and Brick Lane Market, the Human Rights Action Centre has excellent public transport links and is minutes’ walk from Old Street and Liverpool Street stations (Underground) and Shoreditch High Street station. (Overground). It is easy to reach via many cycle routes and there is a Santander Cycle docking station just outside. The HRAC is a fully accessible venue. Parking on-site is available for Blue Badge holders.
