LatinHubUK to present in the Latin American Community Conference
14th September 2021
LatinHubUK will be participating in the Latin American Community Conference. We will be presenting in the panel ‘ Education and Culture, Employment and Welfare Rights’. Despite having good educational backgrounds and high levels of employment, Latin Americans in London are usually employed in low-paid and low-skilled jobs (such as cleaning and hospitality services) with weak labour protection and few opportunities for training and further education.
This is a FREE Conference and you can register HERE
The Latin American Community conference will bring together community and grassroots organisations, community leaders, academics and decision makers in Southwark to discuss and reflect on the needs and challenges faced by the Latin American communities in Southwark, as well as considering the community’s assets and existing resources.
The Latin American Community Conference in Southwark is a cross-sector conference organised by the Southwark Latin American Network (SLAN) in partnership with Community Southwark, with the support of te Institute of Modern Languages Research, University of London
