Today in Europe 4.5 million young people, aged 15-24 years, are unemployed. Work, economy and labour market change fast and to be an employee now and in the future cannot always be a possible choice.
Europe 2020 strategy identifies entrepreneurship and self-employment as key to create jobs, developing skills and giving unemployed young people an opportunity to fully participate to the growth of economy and the improvement of society.
Despite this, only 11 school systems have an enterprise curriculum.
EYEE intends to broaden and strengthen at European level the local experience of EYE – Ethics and Young Entrepreneurs – an Italian programme for the promotion of ethical youth entrepreneurship born in Prato and in Florence in 2012.
The aim of the project is to help to spread the entrepreneurial culture based on ethics among young people through the fundamental role of the school in a European dimension.
To build a successful business today and tomorrow, ethics is essential. In this sense, success is not only an economic value, which is fundamental and without which we can not talk about doing business but is creating value for workers, stakeholders, the social and natural environment in which the business grows and wants to thrive in the long run.
EYEE will create an e-learning training programme on Ethical Entrepreneurship and a networking platform for youngsters to get in touch with entrepreneurs, professionals and mentors.
The project gained the European Call Erasmus + (Key action 2 – Strategic partnerships for innovation) and will last until September 2019.

Our project is based around a theory of change model that we have created to ensure that the project has a positive impact on young entrepreneurs.
The theory of change model has been constructed using key building blocks to bring about our long-term goal. It is reviewed on a monthly basis throughout the project and is a context for considering the connections between the project mission, strategies and actual outcomes, while creating links between who is being served, the strategies or activities that are being implemented and the desired outcomes. This theory of change is depicted as a “pathway of change framework”, a graphical representation of our progress:
We have just launched the website, EYEE.eu and will be launching the e-learning platform soon.
