I am Hannah, and I am in my final year as a Sociology student at the University of Greenwich. My passion and experience in volunteering began when I embarked on a month-long charitable expedition to Borneo in 2017. From then onward my interests for supporting marginalised groups, social policy, gender equality and child protection peaked. As a tenacious and empathetic individual committed to the same goals as IARS, I strive to promote inclusivity in all aspects of my life, including my roles as coach and vice-chairlady of my university cheerleading team. I am thrilled to start my internship with IARS and be surrounded by like minded people. In taking this opportunity I hope to advance my communication and organisation skills, gain training qualifications and valuable experience. As well as aiding as many people, communities and organisations as I can. Throughout my internship I will be developing my own research project so keep an eye out for that!
