Since leaving school I’ve had an eclectic education which has included two years studying at Art School, a 4 year M.A. in ‘Philosophy and Music’ and my current Economics conversion course. Throughout all of these pursuits, I have primarily been interested in human nature/behavior and concerned with how this understanding can help craft a fairer, happier and more democratic society.
One of the reasons I’m so excited to begin my internship at IARS is that I will be surrounded by people with similar interests, skills and expertise. Additionally, I am looking forward to finally seeing how the skills developed in academia can be utilised in a more action-orientated environment. In the future, I aim to go into Public Policy and Research or Community Development. I’m sure that which ever direction I take, I will look back at my internship at IARS as a pivotal moment
