Brief info

Romina Lopez is IARS’ communications manager and she also manages E.D.E.E.Y. project.
Romina has a wide range of experience in government as well as the third sector.
She started her career working for intergubernamental organizations such as the EU parliament and the Organisation of American States. Before joining IARS she was working in government where she gained experience in the areas of international affairs and communications.

She has also worked for NGOs such as Stamp Out Poverty and Progressio which shows her commitment to social change and international development. Her passion for community engagement has led her to Vice-Chair a residents association in Deptford, where she lives. She is also a member of the executive committee of the UK charity APARU.
Romina holds a BA degree in International Affairs from Buenos Aires University and a MSc degree in NGOs and development from LSE. She is a certified digital marketer and she is currently researching social enterprises in the UK.
She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
